It's been a while since I wrote a blog post last time. Was a little bit busy, but blogging is always in the back of my mind. I always keep thinking about what I can blog in order to express myself. My blog is that part of myself that I dare to share with people around me. The closest ones know everything anyway. Because communication, relationship between people is very important to me. OK, let's not get too far from the topic :) Just wanted to share my latest make up purchases and my personal thoughts on them. Hope to be a bit helpful.
1. Mac concealer. I shared my ultimate concealer choice before. Then I decided to try something that is available in Baku, so got this concealer by Mac. At first it seemed ok, because of the sufficient coverage level. But then I noticed how shiny it gets afterwards. And I hate shining face, it looks too oily. My conclusion is that I will go back to using my concealer by Collection.
2. Mac longwear paint pot (eyelid base). I was so lazy to go further in my make up game and raise the stakes. At last I did and bought eyeshadow base from Mac. I heard it was a cool thing and it met my expectation at its best. Eye shadows stay for long hours and look fresh. I'm glad I got it and took my eye make up to the next level adding long lasting effect plus learning to put on eyelash extensions.
3. Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet. Perfect colour for spring. Especially if you feel good, have high hopes and open to new things in life. The colour inspires you to get pretty and shine throughout the day. But it's not exactly the same as on the poster. I bought it because I fell in love with the colour on the photo.
4. Wonder Stick NYX. I was looking for such a thing so I could ease my contouring and save some time on it. But after using it for a week or so I went back to my lovely Sleek palette. Old but gold they say. And sometimes "they" are right :)
5. 120 Colour Eyeshadow Palette by BH cosmetics. I was introduced to this brand by one of the local make up bloggers and asked her about the way to purchase their products. As I said I'm kind of lazy to buy stuff I haven't touched and tested myself. Then when my bestie Gulnar was looking for a birthday present for me I asked her to order this one. As if it wasn't enough she bought other stuff like blush, shimmer, lipstick etc. I like the colours in the palette, they are very bright and if you use base they will last for a long time. There are so many colours that I don't have enough time to test them all, but I'm planning to use them more in my future looks.
Here is the close up of the look when I used BH cosmetics eyeshadow palette for the first time. Eye make up is not that good, I realise it, but it turns out very different every time. Especially when it's you improvise as you go(which I do every time)... Photo is taken after the engagement party I did my make up for. So this is how it looks after I got home. I used base and makeup setting spray. As you see it lasted as long as I needed.
6. Louboutin rouge. Bought this nail polish over a century ago. At least it seems so :) never had a chance to properly use it. Because I used to have gel polish and now gel nails. Never need it. But the other day had really pretty nails with nude gel on them, decided to try this on and it looked really nice. I must say there is nothing special about it except its packaging. It's very beautiful and drags attention. I even keep it on a shelf in my room as a decoration.
