A hero from the past

When you feel like a main character in a black and white movie where a female character waits for someone to come and change her life for better or for worse, the one that shows up in her dreams as a leading role is one of the following A-class Old Hollywood movie heroes:

Gregory Peck
Roman Holiday (1953), To Kill a Mockingbird (1962), The Million Pound Note (1953).

Robert Redford
The Sting (1973), The Way We Were (1973), The Great Gatsby (1974), Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969), Barefoot In the Park (1967).

Paul Newman
The Sting (1973), Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969), Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (1958), Cool Hand Luke (1967).

P.S. I only wrote the movies I picked among the ones I have watched. Old movies are my passion. In a complicated situation I watch one and life seems easier and much more simple. Thanks to that era movie industry for making amazing films that we can refer to nowadays.
